Wiinemaking
Made from Delaware grapes from Okitama in Yamagata. The whole bunches are pressed and spontaneously fermented at low temperature, then matured in stainless steel tanks for seven months. The taste is like biting into a juicy, fresh apple with plenty of juice, with a mild, penetrating acidity and a slight bitterness accenting the slightly crisp, clean type. When cooled, it is easy to drink. This wine was produced with the hope that it will be enjoyed casually at the table every day.

The Dela King has been produced since the 2014 vintage and has become one of their signature cuvées. Yamagata ranks first in Japan in terms of Delaware cultivation and is also top class in terms of quality. The rich nature of the Okitama region, where the Mogami River flows through a basin surrounded by mountains, produces high quality Delaware due to the lots of sunshine, large temperature differences and less rainfall during the ripening period. The wine is made by squeezing the grapes of the region, which can truly be called the “Delaware Kingdom”.
