Join Us for the Launch of GUBI GUBI's Dining Series!

This year, GUBI GUBI embarks on an exciting journey of hosting a series of unique dining events. These gatherings will feature Japanese chefs or chefs deeply inspired by Japanese cuisine who are making their mark across Europe.

We’ve had the privilege of enjoying their Japan-inspired creations privately and are thrilled to now share these exceptional experiences with you. Through these events, we aim to celebrate the richness and modern elegance of Japanese cuisine, reintroducing its wonders to our community.

Moreover, we hope to express our gratitude to these talented chefs, supporting their craft and creating more opportunities for them to shine. As a delightful bonus, you’ll also discover or rediscover the charm of Japanese wine through curated pairings with these extraordinary dishes.

The First Edition: February 6th (Thursday)

For our inaugural event, we are honored to feature Tomoyo KIKI Shimazaki, a Berlin-based Japanese culinary artist. Tomoyo-san teaches both in-person and online cooking classes, sharing the allure of Japanese cuisine worldwide.

Specializing in showcasing Japanese flavors using local and globally accessible ingredients, her innovative approach brings authentic taste to the European table. Our founder, Nori, has personally experienced her creations in Berlin and can vouch for the exceptional quality and attention to detail in her dishes.

What’s on the Menu?

Prepare for a delectable vegetable-forward Japanese tapas plate, featuring ingredients like tofu, nori, sesame, soy sauce, miso, yuzu kosho. Perfectly paired with wine, this 5-6 dish platter will be served in a lively standing-style setting, accompanied by Japan-inspired music.

In addition to the platter, Tomoyo-san will offer a special extra menu for those wanting more. Wine enthusiasts can indulge in rare, high-end glasses selected to complement the dishes seamlessly.
