Tasting notes
Sweet aroma of Pione, red berries, watermelon, guava and a hint of rose. Soft palate, calm, fruity and a bit of bitterness. Aftertaste of Cucurbita such as melon. Recommended to drink it at a higher temperature around 16°c. It becomes softer, fruitier and fuller.  Shake the bottle gently to mix the lees before serving.

Food pairing
Carrot glacé, Asazuke (pickled vegetables with salted malt and kombu broth), black olive, simple pasta with sun-dried tomato pesto, marinated vegetables with Yuzukosho, Kimchi, cabbage salad with gochujang, mountain cheese, hummus, roasted turnip.

Winemaking
Pione, Monde Briller and Ryukyu Ganebu, grown by Shirai no Mi Farm, a farmer offering 'made-to-order grapes' in Mitoyo, Kagawa. These grapes underwent carbonic maceration for two weeks. After pressing, the wine was stored in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks and bottled in October 2022. 

All of these varieties may not be heard of in Europe. Pione is the result of a cross between Kyoho, Japanese table grapes, and Cannon Hall Muscat, a tetraploid branch variation of Muscat of Alexandria. Monde Briller was developed from crosses of Chardonnay and Cayuga White, which is resistant to downy mildew. Ryukyu Ganebu is a wild grape originated in Okinawa, located in the southernmost part of Japan, where UV rays and sea breezes are strong.

The name of the wine is derived from the British physicist Faraday. The name was chosen in the hope that the interaction between the S-pole (Shirai no Mi Farm) and the N-pole (Natan Winery) will develop Shikoku's agriculture and culture, which will be shared with the world, just as education and civilisation developed as a result of the electromagnetic induction he discovered.
