Discover Japan through wine, food, music and the people behind them.

A day dedicated to discovering Japanese wine by the glass, enjoying great food, listening to music, and connecting with others through a shared curiosity for Japanese craft and culture.

This year features the largest selection of Japanese wines we have ever poured by the glass, including many bottles that are normally only available by the bottle.

And for the first time ever, admission is completely free.

Japanese Wine

This year's Japanese Wine Day features the largest selection of Japanese wines we have ever poured by the glass.

Explore wines from wineries across Japan and discover the remarkable diversity of Japanese wine, one glass at a time.

Many of the wines available during the event are normally served only by the bottle. For this special occasion, they will be available by the glass at friendly prices, making it easier than ever to explore and compare different producers and styles.

Whether you're deeply familiar with Japanese wine or trying it for the very first time, there will be something to discover.

Food

A selection of Japanese food stands will accompany the wines throughout the day.

We are delighted to welcome Hyssop and Ryuichiro Nishizaki, with additional participants to be announced soon.

Stay tuned for further updates.

Music

As the day transitions into the evening, Ryuichiro Nishizaki will take over the decks as DJ.

Expect a carefully curated selection of music featuring Japanese sounds and influences, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a glass of wine, good food and great company.

Community

Japanese Wine Day is not only about wine.

It is also about the people who enjoy it together.

Throughout the event, friends of GUBI GUBI and fellow Japanese wine enthusiasts will be pouring wines, sharing stories and helping guests discover new favourites.

We believe wine is best enjoyed when it brings people together. Japanese Wine Day is designed as a place for conversations, discoveries and new connections.

For Restaurants & Industry Professionals

We will be sharing additional information for restaurants, retailers, sommeliers and hospitality professionals interested in Japanese wine.

We Look Forward to Welcoming You

Four years ago, GUBI GUBI started with a simple idea: to introduce more people to the wonderful world of Japanese wine.

Since then, we have had the privilege of sharing wines, stories and discoveries with people from many different countries and backgrounds.

Japanese Wine Day is a celebration of that journey, and of the community that has grown around it.

Whether you are already a fan of Japanese wine or simply curious to discover something new, we hope you will join us.

Come for a glass of wine, stay for a conversation, discover a new favourite producer, meet old friends or make new ones.

We can't wait to raise a glass with you.
